BREMERTON, Wash. – Oregon had its final round of the Husky Invitational at Gold Mountain Golf Club was cancelled due to rain Tuesday. The Ducks finish their opening tournament of the 2019-20 season in fifth place at 4 under.

Freshman Nate Stember led the Ducks, finishing tied for ninth at 4 under, marking the first time since 2013 that an Oregon freshman has opened his career with back-to-back under par rounds. Craig Ronne came in tied for 17th at 1 under and Tom Gueant finished even par for the tournament and tied for 19th.

Senior Kymer Li and freshman Austin Carnese were also in action this week, playing as individuals in the Olympic College Invitational in Port Orchard, Wash. The final round of that event was also cancelled due to rain.
