2020 Hall of Fame Class to be Celebrated at a Future Date
11/11/20 | General
EUGENE, Ore. – The 2020 Oregon Athletics Hall of Fame class will be celebrated at a future date when we are all able to gather together safely, the Athletic Department announced on Wednesday.
The 2020 induction ceremony was originally scheduled for this fall, but was postponed due to the evolving risk posed by COVID-19.
The 29th Hall of Fame class, which was announced in July, features some of the greatest track and field athletes in school history. Among them are five-time NCAA champion and two-time Olympic gold medalist in the combined events Ashton Eaton (2006-10), five-time NCAA champion middle distance runner Andrew Wheating (2006-10), and seven-time all-America sprinter Keshia Baker (2006-10).
Record-setting football defensive lineman Nick Reed (2005-09) and the 2010 NCAA national champion women's indoor track and field team round out the class.
