No. 10 Oregon's road to a fourth straight Pac-12 title will begin at home against Colorado and Utah the weekend of Dec. 4-7
SAN FRANCISCO – The Oregon women's basketball team will begin its quest for a fourth straight Pac-12 Conference championship at home against Colorado and Utah the weekend of Dec. 4-7, the league office announced Monday morning.
The Pac-12 released the weekly matchups and site designations for the 2020-21 conference season, which will feature a 22-game, double-round robin schedule for the first time in league history in an effort to maintain the most control over scheduling and environment during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The announcement reflects the games being played and the home/away designations each week of the Pac-12 regular season. Specific dates and times for each game within a week will be announced after selections by the league's television partners are finalized.
The No. 10 Ducks – one of five Pac-12 teams ranked in the preseason AP top-25 along with No. 2 Stanford, No. 7 Arizona, No. 9 UCLA and No. 18 Oregon State – will face the Beavers in Corvallis the week of Dec. 10-14 after opening against Colorado and Utah. Oregon will then travel to Washington and Washington State (Dec. 18-21) to close out the 2020 calendar year.
UO will kick off 2021 at home vs. UCLA and USC (Jan. 1-4) before traveling to Stanford and California (Jan. 8-11) and then Arizona and Arizona State (Jan. 14-18). The second half of the double-round robin schedule will begin with Washington and Washington State visiting Eugene (Jan. 22-25), followed by a trip to Colorado and Utah (Jan. 29 – Feb. 1).
Oregon will host the Arizona schools (Feb. 5-8) and the Bay Area schools (Feb. 12-15) before heading to Los Angeles to face UCLA and USC (Feb. 19-22). The 2021 regular season will wrap with a second rivalry game against Oregon State in Eugene (Feb. 26 – March 1).
The 2021 Pac-12 Women's Basketball Tournament is scheduled for March 4-7 at Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas. Oregon won the conference tournament for the second time in three years in 2020.
Oregon's 2020-21 nonconference schedule is in the process of being finalized.
