Saturday's Football Game Canceled

The Ducks will not host Washington on Saturday due to COVID-19 cases and contact tracing within the UW program.
The Oregon football team's game Saturday against Washington in Autzen Stadium was canceled and will be declared a no contest, the Pac-12 announced Thursday.
"This decision was made under the Pac-12's football game cancellation policy due to Washington not having the minimum number of scholarship student-athletes available for the game due to a number of positive football student-athlete COVID-19 cases and resulting isolation of additional football student-athletes under contact tracing protocols," the conference said in a released statement.
The Ducks (3-2) will now await results from around the rest of the league this weekend before finding out their matchup during championship weekend. All conference teams available to play are scheduled to participate next week, with the Pac-12 Championship Game scheduled for Friday, Dec. 18, and the rest of the conference in action the following day.
"The health and safety of all student-athletes is always the top priority, and our thoughts are with those at Washington and everywhere who have been impacted by the virus," UO director of athletics Rob Mullens said. "We are disappointed for our Oregon football student-athletes who have done everything right and who have been fully committed to all safety protocols from the start.
"Our team was excited for the opportunity to play for the Pac-12 North Division title this weekend in this great rivalry, and we will continue to practice in anticipation of our next game."
