02/27/20 | Men's Basketball
EUGENE, ORE. – Junior guard Chris Duarte had a procedure on Thursday to repair a broken finger on his right hand.
Duarte originally injured the finger in practice the week of the Oregon State game in Corvallis and played the last five games with the injury. "Chris really tried to tough it out and play through the injury," said head coach Dana Altman.
Playing with the broken finger, Duarte had eight points and five assists in Oregon's 68-60 comeback victory over No. 16 Colorado on Feb. 13 and he had 10 rebounds in the Ducks' 73-72 overtime win at No. 24 Arizona on Saturday.
No. 14 Oregon hosts Oregon State Thursday at 8 p.m. at Matthew Knight Arena.
