Oregon defeated Georgia 82-71 to open the season in just the second ever meeting between the programs.
» N'Faly Dante recorded a career-high 21 rebounds, the most by a Ducks player since Gerald Willett (21) at Duquesne on 12/7/74).
» Dante and Brennan Rigsby led the team with 16 points apiece, with Jermaine Couisnard (14 pts) and Nate Bittle (13) rounding out the double-digit scorers.
» UO gained the lead 22 seconds into the game and did not relinquish it. The Ducks outscored the Bulldogs 38-20 in the paint and grabbed 63 rebounds, most since the 2016-17 season.

Seven Ducks return from last year's team, including three starters.
» N'Faly Dante, Nate Bittle and Jermaine Couisnard started the majority of games they played in last season. Keeshawn Barthelemy and Brennan Rigsby also were in the starting rotation, while contributing off the bench.
» Walk-ons Gabe Reichle and James Cooper also return to the Ducks.

Oregon welcomes three DI transfers, one JuCo transfer and four freshmen to the team.
» Guards Jesse Zarzuela (Central Michigan) and Kario Oquendo (Georgia) averaged 10-plus points last year, while Mahamadou Diawara (Stetson) grabbed 20 rebounds in the last game of the season.
» Jadrian Tracey was a NJCAA honorable mention All- American last season, averaging 14.4 points, 5.7 rebounds and 2.9 assists for Florida SouthWestern.
» Back-to-back Oregon Gatorade Player of the Year Jackson Shelstad joins the Ducks, along with McDonald's All- Americans Mookie Cook and Kwame Evans Jr.
