CORVALLIS, Ore. – No. 18 Oregon came up short of a series sweep of Oregon State, falling 4-0 on Sunday, but still left Kelly Field with the first series win of the season after taking the first two games against the Beavers.

How it Happened: The Ducks (22-11, 5-7) mustered just two hits on Sunday.

Alyssa Daniell singled through the right side in the fifth inning for the Ducks' first hit of the game. Kai Luschar had a bunt single in the seventh inning.

The Beavers (11-20-1, 2-9-1) strung together three hits in the second inning to take a 1-0 lead. OSU then took advantage of a couple of errors by Oregon in the third inning to score its second run of the game. The Beavers tacked on single runs in the fifth and sixth innings.

Raegan Breedlove (2-3) took the loss despite only giving up one earned run.

Noteworthy: The game was delayed by 21 minutes in the first inning due to rain … Luschar made her first start of the season.
