
Ducks Begin Pac-12 Tournament Wednesday

EUGENE, Ore. – No. 58 Oregon begins its postseason run Wednesday at the 2023 Pac-12 Women's Tennis Tournament, as the seventh-seeded Ducks will face No. 63 and 10th-seeded Colorado Buffaloes in the opening round at 12 p.m. PT at Weil Tennis Academy in Ojai, Calif.

The Ducks swept Colorado during the regular season, 4-0, at the Student Tennis Center on March 17. In the matchup, UO picked up doubles victories at Nos. 1 and 3 in addition to straight-set singles wins by Ares Teixido Garcia (No. 2), Myah Petchey (No. 3) and Jo-Yee Chan (No. 6)

Oregon leads the all-time series with Colorado, 14-11, and seeks its fourth straight victory in the series. UO ousted the Buffaloes in the first round of Pac-12 Tournament a season ago, 4-3. The Buffaloes mark the Ducks' sixth straight nationally ranked opponent, and seventh in the last eight contests.
