NCAA Regionals Next for Men's Golf

No. 22 Oregon heads to the NCAA Bath Regional in Bath, Mich. The Ducks are the fourth seed. The top five teams will advance to the NCAA Championships May 26-31 in Scottsdale, Ariz. This will be Oregon's 16th consecutive regional appearance and its 29th NCAA regional overall. Last year, the Ducks finished fourth at the NCAA Stockton Regional to advance to the 2022 NCAA Championships. Oregon returns four golfers off that squad, including Owen Avrit, Nate Stember, Greyson Leach and Greg Solhaug.
OFF THE TEE
• Five Ducks received recognition on the Pac-12's all-league team. Owen Avrit was named to the first team, Nate Stember made the second team and both Greyson Leach and Greg Solhaug were all-Pac-12 honorable mention. Aiden Krafft was named Pac-12 all-freshman honorable mention.
• Owen Avrit has seven top-eight finishes in 10 tournaments this season. In addition to his wins at Bandon and the Cal Poly Invitational (T1), he was the runner-up at the Western Intercollegiate, tied for fifth at the Duck Invitational and the Southwestern Invitational, and tied for eighth at both the Husky Invitational and the Maui Jim Intercollegiate.
• Nate Stember earned his first victory as a Duck with a 6-under 207 to help Oregon win the team title at the Duck Invitational (3/27-28). He was named Pac-12 golfer of the week for his efforts.
• All five Ducks finished in the top 20 at the Duck Invitational. In addition to Stember's win, Owen Avrit and Greyson Leach tied for fifth, Greg Solhaug was T12 and Aiden Krafft was T18.
• The No. 34-ranked player nationally, Owen Avrit has two wins on the season. He claimed victory at the Bandon Dunes Championship with a 4-under 140, that included three birdies on his last four holes to secure the win and lead the Ducks to the team title as well. He also won the Cal Poly Invitational.
