EUGENE, Ore. – Oregon lacrosse's March 3 road matchup with No. 22 Rutgers will be played in front of a national audience on the Big Ten Network after the league announced its 2024 lacrosse television schedule.
Â
This will be the Ducks' first appearance on the Big Ten Network since officially announcing their intent to join the conference back in August. It will also be Oregon's first all-time matchup against Rutgers and is its first nonconference game against a ranked opponent since 2020.
Â
The match begins at 9 a.m. PT with Jason Knapp and Sheehan Stanwick Burch on the call. Fans without the Big Ten Network will be able to stream the game on the FOX Sports App.
Â
Last week the Ducks defeated Marist, 16-9, to improve to 3-0 under head coach Jessica Drummond, the first 3-0 start to a season since 2018. Midfielder Morgan McCarthy earned Pac-12 Offensive Player of the Week after her five-goal, two-assist performance against the Red Foxes while the league's second-leading goal scorer Anna Simmons netted five as well. Oregon leads the Pac-12 in both scoring offense (17.33 GPG) and scoring defense (8.00 GAA).
