The Ducks seek to even their conference record, after a big win against No. 49 USC last Sunday brought them to 2-3. The win improved Oregon to 8-1 on the home courts and Saturday looks to be the first match that will be played outdoors in Eugene.
This is the second matchup of the season for the Pac-12 rivals, after Oregon defeated Washington 4-2 in Seattle in March. No. 74 ranked Quinn Vandecasteele leads singles efforts for Oregon, collecting 13 wins on court one this season. Sophomore Vlad Breazu holds a 3-3 record on court two, after picking up the clinching point for the Ducks last Sunday. Â
Vandecasteele and Matthew Burton are No. 54 in doubles with ten wins this season, while Washington's roster features No. 59 doubles pair Cesar Bouchelaghem and Dzianis Zharyn. Â
