Football Practice Report: Oct. 15

The Ducks are preparing to play at Rutgers on Saturday (3:30 p.m., BTN).
EUGENE, Ore. — The Oregon football team practiced in Autzen Stadium on Wednesday, a workout in full pads as the Ducks prepare to play Saturday at Rutgers.
The No. 8 UO football team is looking to extend the nation's longest active road win streak, which currently stands at nine games. It will be the first meeting all-time between Oregon and Rutgers.
Following Wednesday's practice, UO coach Dan Lanning met with local reporters, as did offensive lineman Iapani Laloulu and cornerback Brandon Finney Jr. Video of those interviews is embedded below.

Some highlights from Finney, who had a pick-six against Indiana last week …
On his pick-six against the Hoosiers: "It was an exciting play, but for me it's just, like, satisfaction. I knew a play like that was going to come at some point. If a play like that happens in one game, that's satisfactory; when it happens in multiple games, it's greatness. That's what I'm trying to be — great."
On if he had a 'welcome to college' moment: "Oh yeah — many times throughout spring ball and fall camp. It's going to happen eventually. Obviously, you just learn from those types of things, and for me, those welcome-to-college moments just breed confidence from me because it happens and I don't really care if it happens again."
On the keys to his success as a true freshman: "My process; I feel like that's a big thing, but I feel like it's also my competitive nature. I feel like no matter what room I'm in, I'm the best player. So even right now, I'm not really satisfied with what I've done so far. I'm not trying to be the best freshman, I'm trying to be the best corner in America."
