Ranked Challenges Await in Arizona

The Ducks will play four teams ranked or receiving votes in this week’s AVCA poll.
EUGENE, Ore. – The Oregon beach volleyball team faces a tough field at the Cactus Classic in Tucson, Ariz. The Ducks will play four teams either ranked or receiving votes in this week's AVCA poll. Oregon carries a 3-0 record—its first in program history—into the desert.

Feb. 28 at Arizona (RV) – 10 a.m.
Feb. 28 vs Boise State (RV) – 12 p.m.
March 1 vs #11 Arizona State – 8 a.m.
March 1 vs #20 Stetson – 12 p.m.

During the season-opening Corban Invitational, the Ducks had wins over Portland (5-0), Sacramento State (3-2) and host Corban (5-0).
At the No. 2 spot in the UO lineup, Landree Coats and AJ Slojkowski were 3-0 last weekend and tallied the first point in two of the three duals. The team of Natasha George and Liz Rossi also collected three wins last weekend, picking up tallies at No. 3, 4 and 5 pairs.
Kendall Clark and Presley McCaskill opened the weekend in exhibition play against Portland but were inserted to the lineup at No. 5 for the last matches. The pair responded with two wins including the clinching point against Sacramento State.
Oregon will be playing its first of four first-time opponents in Stetson when the teams meet Saturday; the Hatters are x-x this season.
