Softball Opens 2025 Season at UNLV Desert Classic

Oregon opens the 2025 season at the UNLV Desert Classic. It will be the Ducks' first games in Las Vegas since 2014.
Oregon will be looking to win a season opener for the first time since 2022. The Ducks will try to accomplish that in the program's first meeting with Buffalo. Oregon will also face Southern Utah for the first time since 2016 and UNLV for the first time since 2017 in the Rebels' season-opening tournament.
BY THE NUMBERS
2 -Â Oregon needs two more victories to reach 1,500 wins all-time.
3 -Â Oregon has three Nevadans on the team: Kai and Kedre Luschar and Paige Sinicki.
27 -Â Kai Luschar led the Pac-12 in steals with 27. She was also fifth in batting (.410).
90 -Â Oregon led the Pac-12 and ranked 27th nationally with 90 stolen bases last season.
1 -Â Shortstop Paige Sinicki won the program's first Gold Glove in 2024.
129 - Paige Sinicki has made 129 consecutive starts at shortstop.
