Butler, Harper Named NFCA All-Americans

EUGENE, Ore. – Senior outfielders Elon Butler and Amari Harper were named to the 2026 NFCA Division I All-America teams as announced by the NFCA on Wednesday.

Butler, an All-American for the second time in her career, was named to the first team, while Harper made the third team. It is the first All-America award for Harper.

They are the 29^th and 30^th players to earn NFCA All-America status in program history.

Butler, who was a second team All-American for California in 2024, set or tied six Oregon single-season records: runs (66), doubles (18), home runs (19), extra base hits (40), total bases (148) and slugging percentage (.881). She is the only Duck currently atop six different single-season lists. No other hitter holds more than two single-season records. The next closest overall is Katie Wiese, who holds five pitching records (wins, appearances, starts, complete games and innings pitched).

Butler became the first player in program history to hit for the cycle when she did that April 4 against Iowa. She also set school and Big Ten single-game records with six hits against the Hawkeyes and tied the Oregon single-game record by scoring four runs.

In addition to the six records, Butler led Oregon in batting average (.399), hits (67), RBI (59), walks (35) and on-base percentage (.512-tie) in 2026. She also led all Duck outfielders with four assists.

Butler earned first-team All-America recognition from D1 Softball on Tuesday.

Harper, a transfer from Texas A&M, was second on the team in nearly every offensive category including batting average (.396), runs (47), hits (61), doubles (10), home runs (15), RBI (47), extra base hits (27) and total bases (120), and tied Harper for the club lead in on-base percentage (.512).

Harper received an AUSL "Golden Ticket" on April 19 which guaranteed her a spot in the 2026 AUSL Draft. She was then selected 14^th overall by the OKC Spark and will begin her professional career later this month alongside UO assistant coach Sydney Romero, who is also a member of the of the Spark.
