Breazu Advances at ITA All-American Championships

TULSA, Okla. - Oregon senior Vlad Breazu advanced in the opening round of the main draw of the ITA All-American Championships on Wednesday.
Breazu defeated Azuma Visaya from the University of Hawaii, 6-4, 7-6 (7-0) to advance to the round of 32. In the second round, Breazu was defeated by Dhakshinewar Suresh (6-4, 2-6, 7-6(4)
from Wake Forest. Suresh entered the season as the No. 3 overall ranked singles player in the opening ITA rankings. Breazu will face Petar Jovanovic from Mississippi State at 7a.m. PT on Friday in the consolation draw. Stats are available at wearecollegetennis.com.
