Ducks Finish 12th at Sahalee

SAMMAMISH, Wash. – Tim Chang and Sebastian Desoisa were able to climb the leaderboard, after the third and final round of golf at the Sahalee Players Championship.
Chang had the low round of the day for the Ducks, carding a 3-over par 75 to finish 37th. Desoisa shot 4-over, but was able to share the 37th place finish in his collegiate debut after a 2-under second round yesterday.
Ramil Saelim, competing as an individual, finished in a tie for 30th, going 76-70-78 on the weekend.
No. 6 ranked Arizona State claimed the team title, scoring a 3-over 867 total for the tournament. Pepperdine's Brady Siravo shot a 3-under 213, going 73-68-72 to earn individual championship honors.
How It Happened
Saelim was the first Duck to tee off, carding three birdies and eight pars. His 2-under 70 round yesterday helped the sophomore secure the highest finish of the six competing Oregon players.
Chang started strong, shooting an even seven holes to begin Sunday's play. He totaled a team-leading 15 pars to finish the third round.
Desoisa had a pair of birdies, but was unable to recover from four bogeys on the back nine. His two eagles on Saturday were the most by an Oregon player this weekend.
Jay Gould-Healy's 79 included a birdie and ten pars, while Aiden Krafft tallied a birdie and nine pars in the third round. Casper Nerpin rounded out the lineup for the Ducks, finishing 11-over after a challenging start to the tournament.
