
Ducks, Trojans Meet on Senior Day

EUGENE, Ore. – The Oregon lacrosse team will wrap up the 2026 season on Saturday at Papé Field as the Ducks aim to earn their first Big Ten Conference win against USC.
Oregon (6-9) returns home after a stretch of seven consecutive games against opponents that are currently ranked in the IWLCA top 25 or were ranked at the time of the game. USC (7-9) is also looking for its first Big Ten Conference win of 2026, and the Trojans hold a 15-3 lead in the all-time series with 10 consecutive victories. An Oregon victory would be the first for the Ducks over USC since April 8, 2018.Â

Oregon concluded its 2026 road schedule last Saturday with a 21-7 loss at Rutgers, which moved up into No. 22 in the IWLCA following the victory. Goalkeeper Francesca Viteritti made a career-high 11 saves, most by a Duck this season, and New Jersey native Avery Young scored a pair of goals in her home state. Lyla Hurley also had two goals and an assists for a team-high three points, Liv Kozitsa was active with four ground balls and three caused turnovers, and Anna Simmons had another well-rounded performance with two assists, four ground balls and two caused turnovers.Â
