Five Ducks On Lombardi Award Watch List

EUGENE, Ore. – The Oregon football program leads the nation with five players on the preseason watch list for the 2026 Lombardi Award, the Lombardi Award Committee announced on Tuesday morning.

Tight end Jamari Johnson, offensive lineman Iapani Laloulu, outside linebackers Teitum Tuioti and Matayo Uiagalelei, and defensive lineman A'Mauri Washington all landed on Lombardi Award watch list. The award honors the most outstanding college football lineman, whether on offense or defense, who displays exceptional performance and ability and embodies the character and discipline that Vince Lombardi championed throughout his life.

Also on Tuesday, UO quarterback Dante Moore was named to the preseason watch list for the Allstate Wuerffel Trophy, which is college football's premier award for community service.

No. 2 in the AFCA preseason coaches poll, the Ducks are in the midst of their first full week of fall camp in preparation for their 2026 season opener against Boise State on Saturday, Sept. 5, in Autzen Stadium (12:30 p.m., CBS).
