Haley Garelick became a volunteer assistant coach for the Ducks after graduating from the University of Oregon in the Spring of 2016.

Garelick came to Oregon by way of Gannon University, where she was recruited by the Ducks’ current head coach Chelsea Shaw and competed during her sophomore year. During her time at Gannon, Garelick won an Event Title for the Seven-element Acro Event during Event Finals at the National Championship in 2014. In the fall of 2014, she transferred to Oregon to complete her Junior and Senior year.

In her time competing for the University of Oregon, Garelick competed in numerous events including Compulsory Toss, Compulsory Pyramid, Five-element Acro, Pyramid Heat 3, and Team Event. Pyramid Heat 3 scored multiple 10.0s in the 2015-16 season. During the 2015-16 season, both Five-element Acro and Pyramid Heat 3 reached season high scores to go on and represent the Ducks in the Event Finals at the National Championship in 2016. During both her years, the Ducks finished as national runner-ups to top-ranked Baylor.

Garelick graduated from University of Oregon in 2016 with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology.

Garelick is a native of Valencia, Calif. and daughter to David and Debbie Garelick. She has an older brother, Connor and younger sister, Brooke. Garelick competed for the California Flyers All-Stars until 2010 and was captain of her cheer team at William S. Hart High School.
