Appeared in seven games for the Ducks, going 2-0 with a 3.86 ERA and five strikeouts in seven innings before missing the final two months of the season with an injury … Pitched two scoreless innings with three strikeouts to help preserve a 2-0 win at Washington.
HIGH SCHOOL
A four-year letterman and 2015 graduate from Tualatin High School in Tualatin, Ore. … Named the Gatorade Oregon Baseball Player of the Year after going 7-2 with a 1.50 ERA and 85 strikeouts as a senior … Also earned first-team all-state and first-team all-league recognition and was named the Tualatin High School athlete of the year … At the plate, hit .391 with 14 RBI … Named first-team all-state and first-team all-league as a junior in 2014 … Posted an astounding 0.35 ERA with 101 strikeouts and just five walks while going 9-1 over 80 innings pitched … Earned first-team all-league honors as a sophomore … Went 7-0 with a 0.72 ERA with 62 strikeouts and seven walks … High school coach was Adam Strachan … Also a three-year letterman in basketball … Earned first-team all-league honors as a junior and second-team all-league recognition as a senior.
