Did not enroll in school in the fall because of an injury, but joined the program in January 2023 … Made eight appearances finishing with a 4.26 ERA … Allowed five runs (3 earned) on six hits in 6.1 innings with six strikeouts and 12 walks … Held opposing hitters to a .240 batting average … vs. Xavier (Feb. 19): Overcame three walks by not allowing a run on an inning of work with one K in career debut … vs. San Diego (March 4): Tossed a scoreless inning while allowing one hit with on strikeout … vs. Northwestern State (March 24): Struck out one and walked two in a scoreless inning … vs. San Francisco (April 12): Allowed first two runs (1 earned) of career on one hit in a season-high 2.0 innings pitched with a season-high 2 Ks and a walk … vs. Gonzaga (April 26): Walked three and gave up two hits leading to two runs in 0.1 innings … vs. #12 Arizona State (April 30): Did not allow a run while giving up a hit to only batter faced … at Utah (May 18): Allowed an unearned run on a hit in an inning of work with a walk and strikeout … vs. Oral Roberts (June 11): Struggled in postseason debut issuing free passes to all three batters faced (2 BB, 1 HBP) in the Super Regional finale.
