Jackie Sher joined the athletic medicine staff in 2020. Sher is currently responsible for managing the healthcare of the men’s and women’s cross country and track and field team. Prior to her time at Oregon, Jackie served as an assistant athletic trainer at Northwest Missouri State University with the XC and track and field programs.
Jackie earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Missouri in 2017, during her undergraduate education she completed a summer internship with the New York Giants. She then pursued and completed her master’s degree in Human Physiology from the University of Oregon.
Jackie’s professional interests include providing patient-centered care and post-operative rehabilitation. She holds certifications in Blood Flow Restriction, and Dry Needling.
Jackie’s professional development in the service of track and field includes providing coverage at the Prefontaine meets, Olympic trials, USA national championships, and World championships.
A native of the Chicagoland area, Jackie enjoys recreating in the Pacific Northwest wilderness, running and biking the local trails in Eugene.
