BEFORE OREGON — The PrepStar all-Midlands Region choice ranked as 92nd-best player in the country at his position by Rivals.com … Was chosen first-team all-state as well as all-District 5A Super Team pick following his junior year, and a 6-5A Sophomore of the Year in 2005 … Credited with 70 catches for 877 yards and seven touchdowns as a senior after hauling in 80 passes for 1,283 yards and 14 scores in 2006 … Completed his prep career accumulating 179 receptions for 2,749 yards and 27 touchdowns over the course of his final three seasons … Selected to play in the UnderArmour All-America Game in Orlando, Fla., following the conclusion of his senior season.
