Missed four consecutive games during the season, missing five total, but came back to the field in game 10 vs. Stanford . . . Season-high 11 tackles against Oregon State (6-5) . . . Stood out against Utah, Nebraska and Washington State for his game most tackles in each . . . Returned to the field after a one-game absence and led the defense with 10 tackles against Nebraska . . . 2015 — Emerged as one of the Ducks' top reserves at his position and made solid strides in the off-season to enhance his future impact . . . Finished the year with 20 stops (13 unassisted) in 12 appearances, including one TFL and a pair of defended passes . . . The Pac-12's first-team academic all-conference honoree (3.63 GPA in general social science) contributed tackles on 11 occasions, including equaling his career high with three takedowns against Georgia State, Washington State and California . . . Was on the field for 54 plays vs. the Panthers and took 46 snaps against the Cougars . . . Exemplified traits as one of the defense's emerging leaders in the spring as he returns as Oregon's most experienced linebacker.
2014 — Wasted little time making the transition to a new environment while certainly benefiting from a year of collegiate experience under his belt . . . Special teams proved to be his window for breaking into the rotation from the line of scrimmage as the year wore on . . . Making appearances in all 15 games, he was credited with 13 tackles . . . Included were a trio of stops on three occasions against South Dakota, Washington and Oregon State . . . Also broke up one pass vs. Colorado.
BEFORE OREGON — Played in eight games as a true freshman off the bench and on special teams for the Cal Golden Bears in 2013, with his pair of tackles vs. Washington including 1.5 tackles-for-loss (-8 yards) and one quarterback sack (-7 yards).
