PERSONAL — Born Tyler Jeffrey Briffett on February 15, 1990 in Marshfield, Mass. Grew up in Marshfield and Quincy, MA. Parents: Donald and Jolanta Briffett, stepmother Lois Briffett. Family: Two brothers and two sisters. High School (Coach): Sheldon (Marty Johnson) 2008 and Boston College High School (John Bartlett) 2005-2007. Major: Psychology. Redshirt: 2008.
2008 — Redshirt season ... Scout team player of the week on special teams for the week of the UCLA victory ... Added to the Ducks’ roster following the first game of the 2008 season when rosters were allowed to expand.
