2006-07
One of three seniors to lead the team. Looking for a return to form similar to his sophomore season. Did not see any action in the fall. Qualified for the U.S. Amateur at Winged Foot.
2005-06
Down season following a promising sophomore campaign. Played in two tournaments, plus the junior varsity Washington Winter Championships. Tied for 57th at the Duck Invitational (75-78-78-231).
2004-05
Exceptional fall lead to solid spring. Tied for 24th at the Northwest Collegiate Classic (74-71-73-218) where he matched his low round of 71. Tie for 14th at the Alister Mackenzie Invitational (72-72-72-216) was his best finish as a collegian. Named Pac-10 all-academic honorable mention. Qualified for the 2004 U.S. Amateur championship. Advanced to the round of 64 at the Pacific Northwest Amateur championship.

Saw action in three tournaments with a 76.2 scoring average. Tied for 46th (74-71-78-230) at the Northwest Collegiate Classic. Tied for 29th at the Duck Invitational (72-78-76-226).

Before Oregon
A four-time Washington junior district champion. Finished fifth at the 2002 junior state championships. Led Mead High School to the 2003 and 2001 Greater Spokane League championships. Finished fifth at the 2003 4A championships. 70.2 scoring average as a senior. Four-year letterman for coach Paul Peters.
Personal
Born Eric Paul Hastings, May 25, 1985, in Spokane, Wash. Parents are Paul and Deneice Hastings. Two older brothers -- Andy, who golfed at Stanford, and Mike, who golfed at Notre Dame. Majoring in business and economics.
