Bio
2006-07
One of only two Ducks on the roster with NCAA Regional experience (Matt Ma). On the verge of becoming a regular in the top five. Two top-30 finishes in three fall tournaments. Oregon’s high finisher at the Husky Invitational where he tied for 23rd (73-73-74-220). Tied for 29th at the Northwest Collegiate Classic (78-71-76-225) in helping the Ducks win the team title.
2005-06
Tough junior year after a good sophomore campaign. Appeared in three tournaments, plus the junior varsity Washington Winter Championships. Best finish was a tie for 65th at the Duck Invitational (78-82-75-235). Finished 67th (80-77-80-237) at the Big Ten/Pac-10 Challenge, his only tournament appearance of the fall. Garnered his second straight Pac-10 all-academic honorable mention honors. Finished second at the Canadian Amateur national championships in August and earned an automatic entry into the PGA Tour’s 2005 Bell Canadian open in September.
2004-05
Truly amazing story as this walk-on saw increasing play as the season progressed. Ducks finished seventh or better as a team in every regular season tournament that he played in. Ended up tied for the third-best scoring average on the squad at 74.0. Had his best finish (T16th) at the Duck Invitational, where he shot 74-73-71-218. Also played well at the Pac-10 Championships, garnering a tie for 19th after a low round 69 (74-70-69-74-287). Played in five tournaments in the spring, including the Duck-dominated Western Invitational. Played in the fall’s Northwest Collegiate Classic where he tied for 46th (75-72-75-222) with a low round of 72. At the NCAA West Regional: struggled the first two rounds, but then rebounded to shoot a career-low 67 in the final round to tie for 61st (76-77-67-220). A Pac-10 all-academic honorable mention selection.
2003-04
Joined the team as a walk-on at the winter break and played in one event, tying for 76th at the Duck Invitational (78-79-80-237).
2003-04
