2016-17: Outdoor - Earned all-American honorable mention honors in the hammer throw... Finished with mark of 196-0 (59.75m) in the hammer throw at the NCAA Championships... Advanced to the NCAA Championships in the discus after recording a mark of 178-08 (54.45m) at the NCAA West Regionals... Finished the discus in fourth place (180-0/54.86m) at the Pac-12 Championships...Threw the discus for 166-08 (50.80m) at the Florida Relays... Had an eventful meet at the John Knight Twilight placing second in the hammer throw with a knew PR mark of 197-0 (60.05m) and placing fifth in the discus with a mark of 166-5 (50.77m)... Took home the gold in the men's open discus with a throw of 179-2 (54.61m) and placed fifth in the hammer throw 193-2 (58.89m) at the Mt. SAC Relays... Placed third at the OSU High Performance meet in the discus with a finishing mark of 175-05.50 (53.48m)... Set a new personal record and took first place in the hammer throw with finishing mark of 208-05 (63.54m) and took second in the discus with a mark of 172-04 (52.54m) at the Oregon Twilight. Indoor - Finished fourth in the weight throw with a mark of 55-08.50 (16.98m) at the UW Indoor Preview... Came in second place in the weight throw with a mark of 61-00.75 (18.61m) at the Columbia EastWest Challenge... Threw for a personal record in the weight throw with a mark of 61-02.00 (18.64m) at the Husky Classic... Took ninth at the MPSF Championships in weight throw with a finishing mark of 59-09.50 (18.22).
2015-16: Outdoor – Finished seventh in the hammer and eighth in the discus at the Pac-12 Championships… Won the hammer at the OSU High Performance Meet with a mark of 192-8 (58.74m)… Won the discus at Titan Twilight with a mark of 176-2 (53.70m)... Third in both the discus (175-11) and the hammer (181-9) at Oregon Relays… Indoor – Set a new personal best in the weight throw at the Razorback Invitational with a mark of 59-01.25 (18.01m)… Season Bests - Outdoor - Discus - 176-2 (53.70m), Titan Twilight, Eugene, Ore., (4/28/16); Hammer Throw - 192-8 (58.74m), OSU High Performance Meet, Corvallis, Ore., (4/30/16); Indoor - Weight Throw - 59-01.25 (18.01m), Razorback Invitational, Fayetteville, Ark., (1/30/16)
2014-15: Outdoor – Did not compete…Indoor – threw the shot put twice with a best toss of 49-10/15.19m at the Rod McCravy Memorial…competed in the weight throw at the Husky Classic where he finished eighth (57-1.5/17.41m)…Season Bests: Indoor – Shot Put – 49-10/15.19m, Rod McCravy Memorial, Lexington Ky. (1/24/15); Weight Throw – 57-1.5/17.41m, Husky Classic, Seattle, Wash. (2/14/15).
2013-14: Outdoor – Placed third in the shot put with a toss of 55-0.25 (16.77m), second in the discus with a throw of 179-5 (54.70m) and second in the hammer throw with a hurl of 181-0 (55.18m) at the Oregon Preview…took first at the Pepsi Dual in the discus with a hurl of 178-2 (54.32m) and second in the shot put with a toss of 56-3.25 (17.15m)…took part in the USA Junior Track and Field Championships…threw the discus 168-10 (51.48m) and tossed the shot put for a distance of 57-7.5 (17.56m)…Season Bests – Outdoor – Discus – 179-5/54.70m, Oregon Preview, Eugene, Ore., (3/22/14); Hammer Throw – 181-0/55.18m, Oregon Preview, Eugene, Ore., (3/22/14); Shot Put – 56-3.25/17.15m, Pepsi Dual, Eugene, Ore., (4/5/14).
Prep: Garnered Track and Field News All-America honors…2013 Gatorade Athlete of the Year in Michigan at Walled Lake Central High School…also Mr. Track and Field for the state of Michigan in 2013…crowned state champion in the discus, shot put and weight throw in 2013…holds school records in each of those three events as well as the state record in the discus at 210-1…won the 2012 USATF Junior Olympics national championship in the discus with a throw of 185-4…placed second in the discus and third in the shot put at the 2012 state championships...prep bests: discus – 210-1; shot put – 61-0; weight throw – 66-1.
