2016-17: Outdoor - Earned All-American honorable mention honors... Threw 174-1 (53.07m) in the discus at the NCAA Championships... Advanced to the NCAA Championships in the discus after recording a mark of 187-02 (57.04m) at the NCAA West Regionals... Claimed the title of Pac-12 discus champion with a throw of 192-7 (58.71m)... Also took sixth place in the shot put 59-8.5 (18.2m) at the Pac-12 Championships... Threw 55.85m in the discus and 17.43m in the shot put at the Florida Relays... Took second place in both the shot put with a mark of 57-10.50 (17.64m) and the discus with a mark of 186-01 (56.71m) at the Oregon Twilight. Indoor - Competed in the shot put at the UW Indoor Preview with a mark of 59-04.75 (17.80m)... Took second place in shot put with a throw of 57-10.25 (17.63m) at the Columbia EastWest Challenge... 2014-15: Outdoor – Scored for the Ducks in the discus at the Pac-12 Championships…finished fifth with a personal best throw of 180-2/54.91m…finished ninth in the shot put (58-4.75/17.80m)…threw both the shot put and discus at the NCAA West Regionals…set a personal best in the shot put at the OSU High Performance Meet with a mark of 60-0.5/18.30m…won the discus competition at the Pepsi Invitational, OSU High Performance meet and Oregon Twilight…Indoors – set an indoor best in the shot put while making his season debut at the Rod McCravy Memorial…finished ninth at the meet with a best of 58-8/17.88m which ranks second in the Oregon indoor record book…finished ninth at the MPSF Championships in the shot put, throwing 57-7.75/17.56m…Season Bests: Shot Put – 60-0.5/18.30m, OSU High Performance Meet, Corvallis, Ore. 2013-14: Outdoor – Qualified for the Pac-12 and NCAA West Regionals…came in second at the Oregon Preview with a throw of 55-6.25 (16.92m) in the shot put…hurled a personal record in the discus with a distance of 171-11 (52.40m)…placed eighth in the Hammer as well with a distance of 160-2 (48.82m)…came in third for the shot put (53-10.25/16.41m), fourth in the discus invitational section (161-11/49.35m) and first in the discus open division at the Aztec Invitational…tossed a PR of 57-5 (17.50m) in the Pepsi Dual and was also second in the discus (159-2/48.52)…was second in the shot put (55-11/17.04m) and fourth in the discus (154-8/47.14m) at the Oregon Relays…took second in both the shot put (56-11.5/17.36m) and discus (166-6/50.76m) at the OSU High Performance Meet…came in fifth at the Pac-12 Championships in the shot put (55-11.25/17.05m). 2012-13: Outdoor - Recorded the best shot put mark of any Duck during the season with a throw of 53-5.75/16.30m in his win at the Oregon Relays…also won the shot put at the Oregon State High Performance Meet and finished second in the discus with a season-best 167-3/50.97m…Indoor – Redshirt season…Season Bests: Shot put – 53-5.75/16.30m, Oregon Relays, Eugene, Ore., (4/20/13); Discus – 167-3/50.97m, OSU High Performance Meet, (4/26/13).
Prep: Ranked ninth nationally in the discus in 2012 as a senior for San Gorgonio High School. Qualified for the California state meet in both the shot put and discus as a senior and placed fifth in the shot (60-10.25). Impressive discus throw of 194-4 came early at the Arcadia Invitational. Upped that to a prep best 198-2. Best shot put, 62-3, came at the Division I meet. That throw ranked 21st nationally. As a junior, ranked 19th in the country in the discus with a mark of 192-5. Placed third in the state in the discus in 2011, becoming the first San Gorgonio competitor to qualify for the state championships in the discus. Also a two-year all-league honoree in football. High School Bests: Shot Put - 62-3, 2012; Discus - 198-2, 2012.
