Naiomi Wilson joined the athletic medicine staff in 2023. Wilson is currently responsible for managing the healthcare of the men’s and women’s tennis teams and football team. Prior to her time at Oregon, Naiomi served as an assistant athletic trainer at the University of Texas San Antonio where she supported the volleyball program.
Naiomi earned both her bachelor’s and master’s degree from Eastern Michigan University in 2021. She has worked with a variety of sports while completing a pre-season intern with Seattle Seahawks and a residency in athletic training at UTSA where she supported the football and softball teams.
Wilson’s professional interests revolve around culturally competent care, post-surgical rehabilitation, and advocating for athletic training residency programs. Naiomi holds an additional certification in dry needling and actively contributes to the athletic training profession as a member of the NATA and CAATE committee for residency education.
Originally from Ann Arbor, Michigan, Naiomi currently resides in Eugene with her dog, Titan. Outside of work, Naiomi enjoys hiking, exploring new areas and restaurants, and weightlifting.
