Sipe, Seniors Pace Ducks After Three Rounds at the Pac-10 Championships

Rancho Mirage, Calif. - The Ducks wrapped up their second round play and completed the third round Tuesday at the Pac-10 Championships, leaving them 10th before Wednesday's final round action.
Oregon finished the second round at the par-71 Canyons at Big Horn Tuesday morning with a 384, leaving them in last place with a total score of 757 after the first two rounds. Senior Chris Dukeminier led the team with a 2-over, 73.
UCLA led the tournament at 13-under behind individual leader Daniel Im's 7-under through the first two rounds of play.
Despite a solid third round showing, the Ducks still find themselves sitting at the bottom of the leaderboard at 1130. Oregon matched its first round score of 373, led by rounds of 74 by Dukeminier and Derek Sipe.
UCLA continues to lead the field despite a 7-over third round that dropped their total score to -6 at 1059. Im posted a 1-under 70 and continues to sit atop the leaderboard at -8.
The tournament concludes Wednesday in Rancho Mirage, Calif as Oregon bids farewell to its seniors Gregg LaVoie and Chris Dukeminier. The Ducks have two other seniors, Kyle Johnson and Justin St. Clair, not competing in the event.
