Ducks Drop Home Game to Cal

EUGENE, Ore. (AP) - Jerome Randle and Theo Robertson each scored 16 points as California defeated Oregon 64-49 Saturday.
Randle and Robertson combined for 11 points and three 3-pointers during a 15-4 run for the Golden Bears (18-9, 10-5) in the opening minutes of the second half that turned Cal's one-point halftime lead into a 39-27 advantage.
Jeremy Jacob scored 14 to lead the Ducks (12-14, 4-10).
The Bears lead the Pac-10 by one game over Arizona State, which plays Sunday, with three to play.
The Ducks shot just 34.1 percent from the field and were 1-for-11 from 3-point range.
Oregon didn't make a field in the final 10:33 and didn't score in the final 4:41.
POSTGAME NOTEBOOK
CALIFORNIA 3-POINT WOES: The Ducks made just one 3-point basket against the Golden Bears, the lowest total since they also made just one shot from long range at Cal on Jan. 21.
JACOB RIDING HIGH: While the Ducks have been struggling, first year sophomore Jeremy Jacob has come into his own. The forward led the Ducks with 14 points against California and has led them in scoring four times in the last nine times. The transfer from Chipola Junior College has scored 10 or more points in seven out of the last nine games.
SINGLER ON THE GLASS: E.J Singler's seven rebounds paced the Ducks against the Golden Bears. He has now led Oregon in rebounding numbers four times this season. He came into the game averaging 4.2 rebounds per game, but has eclipsed that mark in back-to-back games. He had eight boards against Stanford.
KEN BACK IN THE LINEUP: After missing five games due to academics and not starting since the Ducks' contest at Stanford six games ago, LeKendric Longmire was back in the starting line-up. He has now made the starting line-up 11 times this season.
