Funkhouser, Kerem Wrap Up Multis at Mt. SAC/California Invitational

AZUSA, Calif. -- Ingmar Kerem set personal bests in three events to post a 282-point PR in the decathlon Thursday at the Mt. SAC/California Invitational Combined Events at Cougar Athletic Stadium.
Kerem, a sophomore, from Portland, Ore., finished 11th with 5,695 points in the California Invitational section of the decathlon. He had PRs in the discus (97-2), javelin (137-9) and the 1,500 meters, where he ran 4:59.93.
Erin Funkhouser also wrapped up her combined event competition in the Mt. SAC section of the heptathlon on Thursday.
The senior from Grass Valley, Ore., took 15th with 4,699 points.
She was fifth in the 800 meters in 2:18.46 and sixth in the javelin with a throw of 121-0.
