Ducks Persevere in Pullman

PULLMAN, Wash. — Oregon's reserves scored 43 points – led by a career-high 29 from Chris Boucher – as No. 15 Oregon (15-2, 4-0) weathered the ejection of one starter and an off-night from another to pull away from Washington State 85-61 Saturday night at Friel Court.
How It Happened: With WSU leading 48-47 with 13:54 left in the second half, the Ducks went on a prolonged 35-10 run over the next 11 minutes that put Oregon well out in front, 82-58, with 2:52 remaining. Boucher had 16 points during that run, including three three-pointers. Led by Boucher, Oregon's bench outscored the Cougars' 43-19.
That offset the loss of Dillon Brooks, who was ejected just 6:40 into the game with a flagrant two foul. Brooks had seven points before his exit. The Ducks also weathered an off-night from Tyler Dorsey, who was held scoreless on just four field goal attempts three nights after scoring 28 points at Washington.
Who Stood Out: Dylan Ennis added 17 points for the Ducks, while Jordan Bell added 11 and Kavell Bigby-Williams added eight points off the bench. Ennis continued to be a stat-sheet filler, as evidenced by his seven assists and two steals. Boucher had eight rebounds to go along with his 28 points and made a career-high six three-pointers.
Oregon's overall numbers were among the best of the season. The Ducks shot 54.2 percent from the field (32-of-59) and 52 percent from three-point range (13-of-25). Oregon's six turnovers also matched a season low.
What It Means: Oregon swept the Washington trip for the first time since the 2012-13 season. The Ducks now return home for next Saturday's Civil War with a chance to extend their winning streak to 14 games, which would be the Ducks' longest in 70 years.

Head coach Dana Altman
"We found a way to win. Different guys stepped again up. Chris did a real good job and so did Kavell (Bigby-Williams) and Roman (Sorkin), especially on the defensive end. Their defense off the bench made a big difference for us tonight."
Notable: … The Ducks have had three different players score 28 or more points each of the last three games: Brooks with 28 versus UCLA, Dorsey with 28 at Washington and Boucher on Saturday. … Oregon's 13-game winning streak is its longest since a 13-game winning streak to open the 2013-14 season. … Brooks passed A.D. Smith (1,234/1995-00) for 22nd in UO career scoring. … Brooks finished Saturday's game with 1,241 points. … Ennis reached 1,000 career points in his six-year collegiate career, finishing the night with 1,005. … Boucher's three blocks give him 44 on the season - that's No. 5 on the UO single-season list. … The Cougars' 37 first-half points were the second-most allowed by the Ducks this season (UCLA, 47).
Up Next: The Ducks return home for the 347th Civil War. Oregon hosts Oregon State on Jan. 14 (7:30 p.m., Pac-12 Networks).
