The Ducks will host a pair of team camps this summer, the first running July 7-9 and the second from July 16-18. The Oregon coaching staff, athletes and camp coaches will be on hand to guide participating teams through tactics, techniques and the finer points of the game.
The team camps provide teams with a tremendous opportunity for pre-season practice sessions and matches against teams from all over the Northwest and Northern California.
Oregon will also host a number of specialized camps for position groups and individuals throughout July. The first of two setter/hitter position camps will take place July 10-11, and a youth/middle school camp will run July 10-12. A day camp focusing on libero and defensive play will be held on July 12.
From July 14-16, the Ducks will put on an all skills camp for girls entering grades 7-12, offering skills development, offensive and defensive team systems and specialized position sessions and tournament play. There will then be an advanced skills camp from July 16-18 for girls entering grades 9-12 that meet the designated requirements, running at the same time as the second team camp.
The Ducks' 2017 summer camps will conclude with the second setter/hitter position camp, which will run July 19-20.
