EUGENE, Ore. – The No. 18 Oregon volleyball team completed an undefeated weekend at the Oregon Classic on Saturday afternoon with a dominant 25-10, 25-13, 25-7 sweep of Arkansas-Pine Bluff in Matthew Knight Arena.

The Ducks (4-2) secured their fourth consecutive sweep and built some momentum for next weekend's Pac-12/Big Ten Challenge in Stanford, Calif., where Oregon will face No. 3 Minnesota and No. 6 Penn State.

Senior setter August Raskie was named the MVP of the Oregon Classic after guiding the UO offense with 12.00 assists per set, 2.11 digs per set and four service aces. Sumeet Gill (3.22 k/s, .622) and Willow Johnson (3.00 k/s, .500) also earned spots on the all-tournament team.

How it Happened: Oregon jumped out to a 9-3 lead to open the match before going on a 7-0 run to break it open, 16-4. The Ducks scored five out of six to extend their lead to 21-6, and then scored four of the final five points to take a 1-0 lead. Gill was terrific in the opening set after a career night Friday against Long Beach State, putting down seven kills on eight swings without an error.

Gill opened the second set with a kill as the Ducks raced out to a 10-4 advantage. Arkansas-Pine Bluff (0-6) cut the lead to 11-6 when a kill by Lauren Page ignited a 10-2 Oregon run to make it 21-8, Ducks, UAPB made a late 3-0 run before a service error sent the Ducks to intermission up 2-0. Ronika Stone had five kills in the set to pace the UO offense.

Another Gill kill started the third set as the Ducks scored the first seven points, including a pair of aces by freshman Camryn Tastad, who earned the start at libero. Leading 13-5, Oregon put down four straight kills to open a 13-2 run to finish the set and the sweep. Tastad put the exclamation point on the sweep with two more aces to close it out.

Who Stood Out: Gill was fantastic for the second straight match, tying her career-high from Friday night with 12 kills on 14 swings for an astounding .857 hitting percentage. Stone had 10 kills on .412 hitting, and Johnson put down eight while hitting .667 without an error. Taylor Borup had five kills and nine digs, Raskie led the Oregon offense with 35 assists, four digs and three aces, and Tastad racked up five aces to go with nine digs. Oregon hit .455 as a team and had 11 total aces.

Notable: Gill's .857 hitting percentage is the best by a Duck in a match since Serena Warner hit .917 against Washington State in 2012 … Gill's season hitting percentage is now up to .541 … The Ducks used a bit of a different lineup on Saturday, with Borup playing all the way around in place of Lindsey Vander Weide and Tastad at libero for Brooke Nuneviller, who started at outside hitter … This was the first-ever meeting between Oregon and Arkansas-Pine Bluff.

Up Next: Oregon will take on a pair of top-10 opponents in No. 3 Minnesota and No. 6 Penn State next week at the Pac-12/Big Ten Challenge in Stanford, Calif.
