Postseason Begins at Pac-12 Championships

EUGENE, Ore. – The University of Oregon cross country teams are headed up to Monmouth, Ore., for the Pac-12 Championships. The conference meet begins at 11 a.m. (PT) with the men's 8K at the Ash Creek Preserve; the women's 6K follows at 12 p.m. Both races will air live on the Pac-12 Network.

The Ducks have won 26 conference team titles (16 men, 10 women) in program history. Oregon State previously hosted the meet in 2007. This year marks the first time the conference meet will be run in Monmouth. Individually, Oregon also has 24 conference titles (16 men, eight women) spread among 16 runners (nine men, seven women).
Last Time Out
Junior Cooper Teare ran to a 12th-place individual finish at the Nuttycombe Invitational (Oct. 18) in the men's 8K while redshirt senior Susan Ejore ran to a 17th-place finish in the women's 6K. In the team race, the Men of Oregon finished in 10th place and the Women of Oregon were 14th in the field.
In the Rankings
The Men of Oregon enter the Pac-12 meet ranked No. 16 in the country, one of five conference teams inside the top 20. The Ducks have been ranked as high as No. 7 this season. The Women of Oregon are ranked 20th going into the postseason.
