Ulmer Adds Arizona, Texas Standouts

EUGENE, Ore. – Head coach Matt Ulmer and the Oregon volleyball team picked up top prep talents from Arizona and Texas with the additions of Becca Morse (Tempe, Ariz.) and Annie Stadthaus (Austin, Texas). Morse, a standout libero, is an Under Armour All-American and Stadthaus, a prolific attacker, is an all-state performer.

Corona del Sol HS
Tempe, Ariz.
Recently named an Under Armour All-America Honorable Mention performer, Morse ranks second in the state of Arizona with 871 digs during her senior campaign. She finishes her steller prep career with more than 2,400 digs including a state-leading 946 as a junior. Morse earned a spot on the All-6A Conference First Team in 2018. She also registered 180 service aces over the past four years.
Morse was part of the Corona del Sol High School state championship team in 2016 with then-teammate and current UO sophomore Brooke Nuneviller. Morse plays for the Aspire Volleyball Club.

Annie Stadthaus | OH/MB
Vandegrift HS
Austin, Texas
During her standout prep career with Vandegrift High School, Stadthaus put down 1,363 kills to go along with 429 total blocks and 109 service aces. Stadthaus led District 13-6A in kills (598) and blocks (151) as a senior where she led Vandegrift HS to the 6A regional quarterfinals. As a junior, she was named to the TSWA 6A All-State Second Team and earned District 13-6A Most Valuable Player honors.
Stadthaus was part of two district championship teams with Vandegrift. She plays for Austin Skyline Juniors.

"Annie is a very versatile attacker and will add quality depth to our roster. She has excellent character and leadership skills. We are very excited that Annie is a Duck."
