Home Weekend Begins Friday vs Arizona

EUGENE, Ore. – The second half of a back-to-back home weekend begins Friday with the Ducks hosting Arizona inside Matthew Knight Arena at 7 p.m. (PT). Ten of the past 12 meetings between Oregon and Arizona have gone at least four sets including the first matchup this year in Tucson.
Friday's match will be the Ducks' Dig Pink event with fans encouraged to wear pink in support of breast cancer awareness. The weekend finale is Sunday at 1 p.m. against Arizona State. Fans can donate three non-perishable food items for discounted tickets to Sunday's match.

Friday's match against Arizona will be televised on the Pac-12 Networks with a live radio call on KWVA 88.1 FM airing for both matches. About Arizona (12-14, 2-12 Pac-12)
The Wildcats enter Friday's matchup having lost four in a row including a pair of five-set losses at Colorado (Nov. 1) and then-No. 17 Utah (Nov. 3). Senior MB Devyn Cross leads the Pac-12 with a .420 hitting percentage and junior OH Paige Whipple ranks seventh in the conference with 3.53 kills per set. In the first meeting this season, Whipple and Cross led Arizona with 17 and 16 kills, respectively.
About Arizona State (13-12, 5-9 Pac-12)
The Sun Devils head into the Oregon road swing on a four-match skid including two five-set losses at then-No. 17 Utah (Nov. 1) and No. 20 Cal (Nov. 10) in that stretch. The Ducks picked up a season-high 83 digs in their four-set match against No. 24 Washington State (Nov. 10). SO OH Brooke Nuneviller was one of five UO players in double figures. She had a season-high 24 digs and was joined by SR MB Ronika Stone (15), FR L Georgia Murphy (13), FR S Elise Ferreira (12) and FR DS Bea Wetton (10). Oregon is up to sixth in the Pac-12 with 14.38 digs per set. Stone's outing marked a season high.

FR MB Karson Bacon had 13 total blocks last weekend vs the Washington schools. She posted a season-high nine blocks in a four-set match against then-No. 24 Washington State.
