Road Finale Wednesday at Colorado

EUGENE, Ore. – The Oregon volleyball team is off to Boulder, Colo., for its final road test of the season, a midweek match at Colorado. First serve is set for Wednesday at 1 p.m. (PT) on the Pac-12 Networks. The Ducks head into the final week of their 2019 campaign off a five-set victory over USC.

Both matches this week will air on the Pac-12 Networks in addition to a radio broadcast on KWVA 88.1 FM for Friday's home match vs Oregon State. Live stats will be available at Oregon.Statbroadcast.com with in-match updates through @OregonVB on Twitter.
About Colorado (12-16, 4-14 Pac-12)
Dating back to 2016, the teams have split the past eight meetings, and the last 10 matches in the series have gone to at least four sets. Colorado is sixth in the Pac-12 with 2.31 blocks per set. Individually, senior Justine Spann paces the Buffs' offense with 3.61 kills per set and sophomore Meegan Hart leads the team with a .316 hitting percentage. Senior libero Rachel Whipple is fifth in the Pac-12 at 3.85 digs per set.
About Oregon State (9-20, 3-15 Pac-12)
Prior to the Beavers' win earlier this season, Oregon had won eight in a row in the series. Five of the past six matches in the series have gone to four sets including two five setters. OSU is seventh in the Pac-12 with 2.13 blocks per set, and eighth in the league with 14.62 digs per set. Junior libero Grace Massey leads the Beavers' defensive efforts with 4.19 digs per set, which ranks fourth in the conference.
Last Time Out
Playing in their third-consecutive five setter, Oregon capped its LA road trip with a thrilling five-set road win at USC. The win snapped a six-match skid and marked a three wins in a row on the Trojans' home floor. FR MB Karson Bacon posted a solo block of USC All-American Khalia Lanier to secure an 18-16 triumph in the fifth. The match was Oregon's ninth five setter of the season.
Go Off, Willow
SR OPP Willow Johnson put down a career-high 20 kills in the Ducks' five-set match at UCLA (Nov. 22). She hit .421 in the performance with just four attack errors on 38 swings. The UO standout followed with 16 kills in a five-set triumph at USC (Nov. 24). Johnson enters the weekend needing just nine kills to reach 1,000 for her career. She would become the second Duck to reach the milestone this year (Stone).
Double-Double Quartet at USC
For the first time this season, Oregon had four players tally a double-double in its five-set win at USC (Nov. 24). SO OH Brooke Nuneviller posted her team-leading 14th double-double with 11 kills and 24 digs. The Ducks also go double-double efforts from FR S Elise Ferreira (27 A, 12 D), FR S Kylie Robinson (27 A, 11 D) and SR MB Ronika Stone (11 B, 11 D).
Another Mile-Stone
One week removed from surpassing the 1,200 career kills mark, SR MB Ronika Stone moved past Alaina Bergsma (2010-12) into fifth place on the Oregon career points list during the rally-scoring era. Stone enters the weekend with 1,571.5 career points, just 28.5 points shy of becoming the fifth player in program history to reach 1,600 career points.
Nothing Hits the Floor
In their five-set victory at USC (Nov. 24), the Ducks racked up a season-high 92 digs. SO OH Brooke Nuneviller and FR L Georgia Murphy paced the defensive effort with 24 and 20 digs, respectively. During Pac-12 matches, Oregon is averaging a league-high 15.67 digs per set. Nuneviller is averaging 3.96 digs per set against conference opponents.

FR MB Karson Bacon has equaled her career high with 12 kills in two of Oregon's last three matches including 12 in the five-set win at USC (Nov. 24). Three of Bacon's 12 kills against USC came in the fifth set including a putaway at 15-16 to save a match point. The Fontana, Calif., native is hitting .385 in the Ducks' past six matches.
