Hebard poured in 31 points with 13 rebounds in the Nov. 16 win over Texas Southern, and reached the 30-point mark again while matching her career-high with 18 rebounds on Nov. 28 vs. Oklahoma State. Hebard leads the nation in field goal percentage (73.8) so far this season, and the senior enters Monday's game just 34 points away from reaching 2,000 in her career.
Sabally Returning to Form After Early Absence
The Ducks were without standout junior Satou Sabally for the first three games of the regular season as she traveled overseas to play for the German Women's National Team. Sabally has led the Ducks in scoring three times in her six games since returning, including a 23-point performance to help guide the Ducks to a top-20 road win over No. 17 Syracuse on Nov. 24. Sabally is averaging 15.5 points and 6.8 rebounds per game so far in 2019-20, and she had six points and seven rebounds in just 12 minutes of action on Saturday at LBSU.
Ionescu, Moore Directing One of Nation's Most Dynamic Offenses
The Ducks lead the nation in assist-to-turnover ratio (1.79) and are No. 3 in both points per game (88.4) and assists per game (22.3), and that is due in large part to the play of guards Sabrina Ionescu and Minyon Moore. Ionescu is the NCAA leader with 8.7 assists per game, and Moore is 30th with 5.4 while ranking fourth in the nation with a 3.7 assist-to-turnover ratio. Ionescu is not far behind at No. 6 in the nation with a 3.5 ratio, and the two Ducks have combined for six double-figure assist games already this season.
Ducks Rebound From First Loss With Complete Performance
Oregon used suffocating defense and lights-out shooting to blow past South Dakota State, 95-56, on 12/8/19 in a rematch of last season's Sweet Sixteen showdown. The Ducks went to a three-quarter court press for the first time this season and pressured the Jackrabbits into 13 turnovers, including 10 in the first half, and just 37.3 percent shooting from the floor. Offensively, Oregon was firing on all cylinders from beyond the arc after struggling the week before, going 14-of-24 (58.3%) from three-point range. Five different Ducks finished with double-digit points, led by 22 on 11-of-15 shooting from Ruthy Hebard.
