Home Weekend Begins Thursday vs MTSU

EUGENE, Ore. – More than 10 days removed from their last match, the 12th-ranked Ducks get back to action Thursday with a home match against Middle Tennessee. First serve of the matchup is scheduled for 6 p.m. (PT) at the Student Tennis Center. Coming off two road wins, the Ducks are 11-1 overall and have won eight in a row.
Oregon's home weekend also features the team's Pac-12 opener Saturday at 2 p.m. against Washington. The Ducks are undefeated in home matches this season. Admission is free for all home matches at the Student Tennis Center.
Thursday's match could produce some program history with senior Thomas Laurent in position to break the UO career wins' record. He is currently tied with former teammate Jayson Amos (2013-17) at 93 singles victories. Laurent is the No. 5-ranked player in the country and carries an 18-3 record this year.

The Ducks' climb up the top 25 continued Tuesday with a program-high No. 12 national ranking in Tuesday's release of the ITA team poll. Oregon had been 15th in the previous two polls. Laurent stayed put among the top 10 at No. 5 and sophomore Emmanuel Coste checked in at No. 90 in the country.
All three doubles team continue to be ranked with Laurent and Joshua Charlton at No. 53, Charles Roberts and Armando Soermarno at No. 60 and Coste and Ty Gentry at No. 66 in the ITA release.
