Oregon handed the Huskies their first loss in Gampel Pavilion since 2013, and their most lopsided defeat ever in that building since it opened in 1990. It was also Oregon's first ever road win over a top-five opponent. Oregon's starting lineup was stellar, with all five starters scoring in double figures. Ruthy Hebard was a monster inside with 22 points and 12 rebounds for her 50th career double-double - UO dominated 44-14 in the paint - and Satou Sabally notched her eighth with 17 points and 10 boards as she continued her recent surge. First Meeting Vs. Arizona (UO Won, 71-64)
Oregon's current eight-game win streak began with a top-25 road win over then-No. 18 Arizona on 1/12/20, as the Ducks grinded out a 71-64 victory behind 54 combined points from its big three of Sabrina Ionescu, Ruthy Hebard and Satou Sabally. Oregon owns a 42-28 lead over Arizona in the all-time series, and the Ducks enter Friday's contest having won eight straight and 13 of the last 16 against the Wildcats.
Three-Quarter Triple-Double Fuels Win at Colorado
Sabrina Ionescu extended her NCAA all-time record with her 23rd career triple-double and fifth of the season in last Saturday's 101-53 win at Colorado. Ionescu finished with 24 points, 13 assists and 10 rebounds, and she did so without playing at all in the fourth quarter. The "Big Three"
The Ducks' power trio of Sabrina Ionescu, Ruthy Hebard and Satou Sabally is arguably the best "Big Three" in the nation. Ionescu leads the team this season with 17.3 points per game while averaging 8.7 rebounds and an NCAA-leading 8.6 assists per game. Hebard is averaging 16.5 points and a team-best 9.7 rebounds per game, and Sabally's recent offensive surge has her up to second on the team with 16.6 points per game while adding 7.0 rebounds. The Ducks enter Friday's game as the only team in the nation to have three regulars averaging at least 16.0 points per game.
Sabally On Offensive Tear
Satou Sabally has taken her game to another level since the Ducks' top-25 road win at then-No. 18 Arizona on 1/12/20. Sabally is averaging 19.6 points and 8.0 rebounds over the Ducks' last eight games entering Friday's contest, headlined by a season-high 31 points on 1/19/20 against California and 23 points last Thursday at Utah. The junior has gotten to the free-throw line at an impressive rate, going 49-of-54 (90.7%) at the stripe over the last eight games. After putting up 17 at No. 4 UConn on Monday, Sabally has now scored at least 16 points in each of the last eight games, and she has finished in double figures in 15 of 18 games so far this season.
Ionescu Approaching 1,000 Assists
Sabrina Ionescu enters this weekend only 18 assists away from joining Courtney Vandersloot - who also played under Kelly Graves at Gonzaga - as the only players in history to record 2,000-plus points and 1,000-plus assists. Ionescu's 982 career assists currently rank No. 7 on the NCAA all-time women's list, and she is only six away from passing Shanya Evans (987, Providence) for No. 6 and just seven shy of overtaking Niya Johnson (988, Baylor) for No. 5 all-time. Ionescu is the Pac-12 all-time assists leader for both men and women, passing Jordin Canada (831, UCLA) for the women's record on 11/28/19 and Gary Payton (938, OSU) for the overall record on 1/24/20. Ionescu leads the nation this season with 8.6 assists per game and 190 total dimes.
Hebard The Hammer
Ruthy Hebard has been a dominant force down low for the Ducks all season, but she has really elevated her game over the last four contests. Hebard has three double-doubles in the Ducks' last four games - giving her 11 this year and an even 50 for her career - and she was 10-of-14 from the floor for 22 points with 12 boards at No. 4 UConn, one of the most impressive outings of her career. Hebard is averaging 11.8 rebounds and 16.5 points per game over the last four, and eight of her 14 rebounds on 1/26/20 at No. 7 Oregon State came on the offensive end. Hebard leads the Pac-12 this season with 9.7 rebounds per game.
Automatic at the Stripe
Sabrina Ionescu has been nearly flawless at the free-throw line this season, as the senior star is a perfect 33-of-33 at the stripe through UO's first 10 conference games. On the season, Ionescu is shooting a stellar 93.1 percent (54-of-58) from the line - only one make shy of qualifying for the NCAA stat rankings, where she would lead the nation. Ionescu had made 34 consecutive free throws before missing the first of two in Monday's win at No. 4 UConn. As a team, Oregon ranks No. 4 nationally with a 78.3 percent mark from the line. Satou Sabally is shooting 81.6 percent from the line while leading the team in makes and attempts (80-of-98).
This is the Greatest Show
The Ducks are a perfect 11-0 at home this season, and one of the biggest reasons for UO's success in MKA is the team's popularity in and around Eugene. Oregon's 1/24/20 Civil War showdown was played in front of a capacity crowd of 12,364, marking the fourth sellout in Oregon women's basketball history and the third inside Matthew Knight Arena. Oregon is No. 2 in the nation in total attendance (113,997) and No. 2 in average attendance (10,363) - trailing only Iowa State and South Carolina, respectively - and those figures don't even include the 11,530 fans who came to watch the Ducks take down the USA Women's National Team on 11/9/19. Oregon has drawn at least 10,000 fans in each of its last seven home games, breaking 11,000 three times and 12,000 twice.
Shooting The Lights Out
Oregon leads the nation in scoring offense with 86.2 points per game entering Friday's contest, and the Ducks are No. 2 in the NCAA with a 50.4 field-goal percentage as a team. One of the biggest factor's in Oregon's efficiency has been its dominance in the paint, where the Ducks own a 400-point advantage and have outscored their opponents in all but one game so far. Ruthy Hebard has elevated Oregon's field goal percentage a great deal as the senior post ranks No. 3 in the nation individually with a 66.8 shooting percentage. From three-point range, the Ducks rank No. 10 in the nation with 9.0 threes per game and No. 18 with a 37.0 shooting percentage from behind the arc.

Oregon leads the NCAA with a 1.87 assist-to-turnover ratio, with Moore ranking second nationally at 4.04 and Ionescu sixth at 3.13. The Ducks are No. 3 in the country with 21.1 assists per game behind Ionescu's NCAA-leading 8.6 APG, and Oregon is No. 4 nationally with just 11.3 turnovers per game. The Ducks are a perfect 19-0 this season when finishing with more assists than their opponent, and 13-1 when committing fewer turnovers.
Moore Doing it At Both Ends
Minyon Moore has been an electrifying addition for the Ducks this season as a graduate transfer, especially on the defensive end. In addition to ranking No. 2 in the nation in assist-to-turnover ratio, Moore leads Oregon this year with 37 total steals, including a season-high six last Thursday at Utah and 10 total in the last three games. Moore has also picked up her offensive production recently, scoring in double figures in each of the last two games entering Friday's contest.
Three-point Threats Off the Bench
Oregon's usual three-point snipers have gotten off to a less efficient start than expected this season, but the Ducks have gotten a huge boost off the bench from sophomore Taylor Chavez and freshman Jaz Shelley. Chavez is among the Pac-12 leaders with an impressive 47.5 percent mark from behind the arc, headlined by a 65.0 percent clip (13-of-20) during Pac-12 play. Shelley is also shooting an efficient 41.7 percent from deep this season, headlined by her UO single-game record 10 made threes on 12/16/19 vs. UC Riverside. Fellow freshman Holly Winterburn gives the Ducks yet another three-point threat off the bench; the Northampton, England, native is 12-of-34 (35.3%) from deep so far this season.
