EUGENE, Ore. – For a second time in as many weeks, Oregon outside hitter Mimi Colyer has earned Pac-12 Freshman of the Week honors. The Lincoln, Calif., native averaged a team-high 4.13 kills per set over two matches this past weekend, wins over UC Davis and Rice during the Oregon Invitational.

In another Monday release, the Ducks hold steady at No. 18 in the AVCA top-25 national poll. Oregon is off to Minneapolis, Minn., this week for the Big Ten/Pac-12 Challenge (Sept. 9-10) and matches against third-ranked Minnesota and No. 20 Penn State.
Â
Colyer was near perfect against UC Davis (Sept. 1), putting down a season-high 21 kills on 30 swings and only one attack error, good for a .667 hitting percentage. Her 21 kills against the Aggies are tied for the fifth most by a player in the NCAA in a three-set match this season. She also had four digs and two aces.
