Ducks Tie for Eighth at the Goodwin

SAN FRANCISCO – Oregon shot an 8-over 288 in the final round of the Goodwin and finished tied for eighth Saturday at TPC Harding Park.
Freshman Aiden Krafft led the Ducks in the final round with an even-par 70.
No. 13 Oklahoma won the tournament at 18-under 822. No. 11 Georgia Tech was second (828), followed by No. 7 Stanford (839), San Francisco (841), California and San Diego (842), USC (846) and Oregon and Santa Clara (847).
How It Happened: Krafft had four birdies and four bogeys for his round of 70 on Saturday.
The Ducks also counted 72s from Nate Stember and Owen Avrit. Stember was Oregon's highest individual. He tied for 17th at even-par 210. Greyson Leach tied for 24th at 211.
Notable: After an opening round 75, Krafft posted back-to-back rounds of 70 … It was Stember's third top-20 finish of the season.
