Ducks Face No. 7 Stanford in Pac-12 Tournament

No. 17 Oregon heads to the inaugural Pac-12 Tournament as the No. 5 seed. The Ducks will face fourth-seeded Stanford in the quarterfinals Thursday at 6:30 p.m. (Pac-12 Network). The Ducks and Cardinal played a tight 3-game series earlier in the season, won by the Cardinal 2-1. All three games were decided by two runs or less and neither team scored more than three runs in any game.
BUNKER 7-10 SPLIT
With her 10th home run of the season Saturday against Utah, Allee Bunker became the only player in the NCAA who has hit 10 or more home runs, while striking out seven times or fewer each of the last three seasons. Bunker is the only player in program history ranked the the school's career top 10 in hits, 2B, runs and RBI.

19 - Oregon is second in the Pac-12 with 19 double plays turned this season.
172 - Allee Bunker has started 172 consecutive games. She was named the #6 player nationally 2B where she has started 164 straight.

DUCKS IN THE POLLS
Oregon currently sits at No. 17 in the NFCA Coaches' Poll and No. 18 in the ESPN/USA Softball Poll. It is Oregon's 53rd consecutive appearance in the polls, dating back to the 2020 preseason poll.
STRENGTH OF SCHEDULE
The Ducks are currently 8-4 vs. 2022 WCWS teams, and 19-10 against teams that made the NCAA Tournament last year. So far, the Ducks have played six of the eight teams that reached the 2022 Women's College World Series – Florida, Northwestern, Oklahoma State, Arizona, Oregon State and UCLA. In all, Oregon has played 29 games against teams that advanced to the NCAA Tournament a year ago. In addition to the six WCWS teams, the Ducks' 2023 opponents who played in the 2022 NCAA Tournament are Wisconsin, Ole Miss, LMU, San Diego State, Fullerton, Missouri, Minnesota, Arizona State, Washington and Stanford.
ABOUT THE 13-GAME WINNING STREAK
Oregon's recent 13-game winning streak was its longest since winning 15 straight in 2021. Oregon put up some impressive numbers during the winning streak. The team hit .377 with 24 2B, 20 HR and 99 RBI. The Ducks out-scored the opposition by 82 runs, 105-23. In the circle, the Ducks had a 1.17 ERA with four shutouts and four saves.

Allee Bunker is the only player in program history ranked in the UO career top five in hits, doubles, runs and RBI. She's now third in hits (281), second in 2B (46) and fifth in runs (161) and RBI (167).
BUNKER PASSING LEGENDS IN THE CAREER TOP 3
Allee Bunker has moved into the UO career top three in both hits and doubles. She passed Nikki Udria - now assistant coach Nikki Ragin - (2014-17) for third in hits and now shows 281. Courtney Ceo (2011-14) is second with 288. Bunker has also passed Janie (Takeda) Reed (2012-15) for second in career doubles wand now shows 46. Jenna Lilly (2015-18) is the school record holder with 52. She is also fifth in career RBI (167) and career runs (161).

Allee Bunker was selected 16th overall by the USSSA Pride in the 2023 Women's Professional Fastpitch draft. Bunker is the 19th Duck to be drafted professionally and the first since three Ducks, including No. 3 overall pick Gwen Svekis, were drafted in 2018. Morgan Scott has thrown complete game wins against five different Pac-12 schools this season. She shutout both No. 3 UCLA (3-0) and Arizona (8-0), allowed an unearned run against both No. 7 Stanford (2-1) and California (9-1) and yielded just one earned run against Arizona State (5-2). Scott has won 10 of her last 12 decisions. She is also first in the Pac-12 in fewest walks per seven innings (1.03).
CLOSING TIME
Morgan Scott is tied for the Pac-12 lead in saves with six, while Raegan Breedlove has saved three games for the Ducks this season and Stevie Hansen has one.

Catcher Terra McGowan has thrown out 11 base stealers this season. That's second in the Pac-12. She's also picked off three runners.
