Logan Bell, Kenna Cogill and Izzy Mogridge are the newest members of Oregon volleyball.
EUGENE, Ore. – Marking the start of the national signing period, Oregon volleyball head coach Matt Ulmer has announced three additions Wednesday. The newest group of Ducks features Logan Bell (Beech Grove, Ind.), Kenna Cogill (Gilbert, Ariz.) and Izzy Mogridge (Lutz, Fla.).
"Izzy, Kenna and Logan bring so much to our program," Ulmer said. "They are dedicated humans and student-athletes that know how to win making others around them better. All three have high-caliber character and leadership skills and I couldn't be more excited to call them Ducks."
Logan Bell
Outside Hitter
Roncalli HS | Beech Grove, Ind.
Bell is one of five finalists for the 2024 MaxPreps National Player of the Year having put down 333 kills while hitting .313 to go along with 252 digs and 63 service aces. The Indiana all-state performer helped lead Roncalli High School to a 35-0 record this season and the 3A state title. Bell had a double-double in the championship final with a match-high 14 kills and 13 digs.
During her standout prep career, the 5-10 outside hitter amassed 1,280 kills, 1,131 digs, 168 aces and 108 total blocks. In a show of her all-around game, Bell was an alternate at libero for the 2024 U.S. Girls U19 Team. Bell played club for Circle City VBC.
Ulmer Says…
"Logan might be the best volleyball player in this class pound for pound. It's like having a coach on the floor when she's out there. She understands the game so well and is an excellent communicator and example for those around her."
Kenna Cogill
Middle Blocker
Perry HS | Gilbert, Ariz.
Cogill finished her senior season ranked among the top five in Arizona in both hitting percentage and total blocks. In helping Perry High School qualify for the state tournament, the 6-4 middle blocker hit over .430 while averaging 2.5 kills per set and posting more than 140 blocks.
The Gilbert, Ariz., native recorded more than 750 kills and nearly 400 blocks during her prep career. Cogill played club for Arizona Storm Elite VBC.
Ulmer Says…
"Kenna is a difference maker in the middle. She has a great arm that's fast and has range. Her length and experience has made her very successful defensively, and the selflessness and willingness to do the little things has helped her teams win championships."
Izzy Mogridge
Setter
Berkeley Prep | Lutz, Fla.
Mogridge was chosen as one of 26 prep standouts across the country to play in the 2025 Under Armour All-American Game, coming up in January. She helped Berkeley Prep to a state runner-up finish in the 3A Florida Championships. In a regional semifinal, Mogridge recorded a triple-double—11 kills, 15 digs and 13 assists—in a straight-set win.
Over her final two seasons at BPHS, Mogridge totaled more than 1,000 assists, over 450 kills and nearly 350 digs. The 5-10 setter played club for OTVA Tampa.
Ulmer Says…
"Izzy is an elite playmaker. She controls the setting position and directs her offense at an elite level. She excels in every aspect of the game. She's tough and gritty and fights to find a way to be successful."
