EUGENE, Ore. — Oregon women's basketball continues its season-opening homestand on Wednesday, as the Ducks welcome Nevada to Matthew Knight Arena for a 7 p.m. contest.
Oregon seeks to go 2-0 to begin the season for the 10th straight year, after the Ducks opened the 2024-25 campaign with a 93-63 win over California Baptist on Monday. UO saw 12 different players get into he scoring column, with four in double figures, led by 16 from guard Peyton Scott.
The Ducks and Wolf Pack will meet for the second straight year after Oregon earned a 76-47 win in Reno last November. Oregon is 5-2 all-time against Nevada, with a 2-1 home record in the series.

Oregon's new-look roster, which features seven transfers and two freshmen, was on full display against California Baptist on Monday.
Twelve different players got into the scoring column, including four in double figures, led by 16 from guard Peyton Scott. Three newcomers cracked UO's starting lineup in addition to Scott, who missed nearly all of last season with a knee injury.
The 93 points and 13 made 3-pointers were better than any single-game performance last season, while UO's 23 assists and five turnovers tied single-game bests from a season ago.
SCOUTING NEVADA
Wednesday's game will be the season opener for Nevada, who went 16-16 and tied for fourth in the Mountain West standings with a 10-8 conference mark. The Wolf Pack were picked to finish seventh in the Mountain West's preseason poll.
Nevada returns five players who made double-digit starts last season, including its leading scorer in Audrey Roden (11.5 PPG) and leading rebounder in Lexie Givens (6.4 RPG). Also among the Wolf Pack's returners are Izzy Sullivan, who connected on a team-high 52 3-pointers last season, and Dymonique Maxie, the team's assists leader at 71.
Head coach Amanda Levens enters her eighth season in Reno, with a 105-111 record. Levens' squad led the Mountain West with 12.7 offensive rebounds per game and ranked second at 10.1 steals a game.
Roden and Maxie both finished in the top five in the league in steals, with Roden ranking with 64 steals Maxie fifth with 59 thefts.
