Oregon opens play against No. 6 TCU Friday at 4 p.m.
EUGENE, Ore. – The Oregon beach volleyball team will spend the second weekend of the 2024 season competing at the Stanford-hosted Battle of the Bay. The Ducks open play Friday against No. 6 TCU and second-ranked Stanford.
The Ducks' weekend schedule also features dual matchups with Saint Mary's and San Jose State.
Oregon (1-4) opened its 2024 campaign last weekend at the Green Wave Invitational in Elmwood, La. In their last outing, the Ducks dropped a 4-1 decision to New Orleans. Kendall Clark and Skylar Kelly picked up the team's point with a straight-set victory in the No. 5 spot of the lineup.
Earlier that same day, UO rallied past Southeastern Louisiana to post its first win of the season (Feb. 24). The duo of Natasha George and Sophie Gregoire clinched the team victory with a sweep on court three.
As a team, George and Gregoire won twice last weekend and are tied with the team of Presley McCaskill and Isabel Patterson. Individually, Kelly also has a pair of wins this season. In addition to her victory with Clark against New Orleans, she earned one of the Ducks' points against SLU with Landree Coats.
